HOW TO APPLY
  1. Eligible candidates have to apply in typewritten form for the above posts, either in English or in Hindi, strictly in the prescribed format. The format of the application can be downloaded from the website http://www.loksabha.nic.in under the link ‘Recruitment’.
  2. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post should submit separate application form for each post.
  3. Applications which are illegible, not conforming to the prescribed application format and the instructions given in the Advertisement or received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
  4. Candidates in Government service should submit their application(s) through  proper channel only. No such application will be accepted 7 days after 30.06.2014
  5. Applicants should affix two self-attested identical recent passport size photographs, one on the application form and the other on the attendance sheet.
  6. In case sufficient number of eligible candidates prefer to take examination in Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai, Joint Recruitment Cell may hold the preliminary examination for the posts contained in this advertisement in these cities also besides Delhi. In the eventuality of insufficient number of eligible candidates for a post opting for taking examination in any of these three cities, those candidates will have to take examination in Delhi. The choice once made by the applicant with regard to the examination centre shall be final. Joint Recruitment Cell will, however, have final discretion in the allotment of examination centre to the applicants on the basis of number of applications received in respect of a particular post for a particular centre.
  7. Canvassing in any manner would lead to summary rejection of application and candidature at any stage.
  8. All particulars (except Residential Address) furnished by the applicant will be treated as final and no change will be allowed therein later on. The applications of the candidates who do not specify their category in sl. no.12 of the application, will be rejected.
  9. HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates have to apply only On-Line through the Bank’s website i.e. www.rbi.org.in from 03.06.2014 to 23.06.2014. No other means/mode of applications will be accepted. Detailed instructions for applying On-line are available on the website. Candidatesneed not submit the system generated print out (hard copy) of the On-Line application to the Board’s office.
(A) Pre-Requisites for Applying On-line:
Before applying on-line, candidates should-
(i) Scan their photograph and signature as detailed under guidelines for scanning the photograph and signature in item 10 of the advertisement.
(ii) Keep the necessary details/documents ready if desired to make on-line payment of the requisite application fee/intimation charges (In case of Offline Payment i.e. CBS, candidates have to apply on-line, obtain a fee payment challan and then remit the necessary application fees/intimation charges). The candidate is required to keep details about bio-data ready to enable him/her to fill up the application form correctly. The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificate/mark sheets. At the time of online exam, the acceptable identity proof should also bear the same name.
(iii) Candidates should have a valid E-mail ID which should be kept active till the declaration of final result. This is essential for him/her in getting Admission Letter (AL) / Interview advice, etc. by E-mail. No change in E-mail ID will be entertained during the entire process of the recruitment.
(B) Procedure for applying on-line:
(i) Candidates satisfying the conditions of eligibility as on June1, 2014 are first required to visit the URL “Recruitment to the post of Officers in Gr “B” (General) – DR’ on Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in>ABOUT US> OPPORTUNITIES AT RBI>CURRENT VACANCIES> VACCANCIES and click on the hyperlink “Applications (Apps)” in the Advertisement page for filling the On-line Application. It redirects the candidates to the on-line registration page.
(ii) Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the on-line application form as per the specifications given in item 10 of the advertisement.
(iii) Candidates should fill in the details in the On-Line Application at the appropriate places very carefully and click on the “SUBMIT” button at the end of the On-Line Application form. Before pressing the “SUBMIT” button, candidates are advised to verify every field filled in the application. The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificate/mark sheets. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature. At the time of online exam, the acceptable identity proof should also bear the same name. Board will not entertain any request for change of any information furnished in On-line application. A Provisional Registration/Receipt Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
(iv) In the event of the candidate not being able to fill the data in one go, he/she can save the data already entered. When the data is saved, Provisional Registration number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the Provisional Registration number and Password. Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will be sent. Candidates can reopen the saved data using Provisional Registration number and Password and edit the particulars, if needed. This facility will be available for three times only. Once the application is completely filled, candidate should submit the data and pay fees/intimation charges to complete the registration process.

On-Job-Training as Assistant Melter at Burn Standard Company (BSCL)



BSCL is one of the pioneer Wagon Manufacturing Companies, effectively contributing to the country’s economy by manufacturing various types of wagons for Indian Railways and other Customers. The Company would be imparting “On-Job-Training”to the Male Candidates as Assistant Melters at the Foundry Division of its Howrah Works.In order to get quick response from the candidates in the aforesaid discipline for “On-Job-Training”, “Walk-in-Interaction” would be conducted on 07th June, 2014(Saturday) from 11.00 A.M. to 02.00 P.M. at the Company’s Head Office at 22-B, Raja Santosh Road, Kolkata- 700027. Managing Director Opening in Lucknow Metro Rail Corporatation



NAME OF THE POST : MANAGING DIRECTOR

SCALE OF THE POST : Rs. 80000-125000/- (IDA Pattern) along with other allowances/ perks/ privileges as applicable to the post of Managing Director as per LMRC rules. Officers on deputation will be paid as per Central Govt. rules for deputation, besides perks and allowances as admissible by LMRC.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Managing Director as the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for overall functioning of the organization. He will be responsible for successful implementation of entire project within budget and time period. As leader of the team for implementation, successful commissioning and operation of Lucknow Metro Project, he will be responsible for overall planning, design, construction scheduling, monitoring and controlling of the project including mobilizing the necessary resources and coordinating the efforts of team to ensure delivery within estimated budget, timelines and to the desired standards and quality. This will include coordination with international funding agencies and Government for funding of the project, arranging all the necessary statutory approvals and clearances for implementation of Lucknow Metro Project during construction as well as subsequent smooth operations and managing relationships with all internal and external stakeholders consistent to their expectations and deliverables.
He should plan Metro Operations with a vision of affordability of the service to the common man yet ensuring financial sustainability of the system on its own.
He will also be responsible for planning subsequent phases of Lucknow Metro project.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The applicant should be an engineering graduate, preferably from the Civil or Electrical Engineering discipline with good academic record from a recognized university/ institution.
Persons with post-graduate qualification in Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration will have added advantage.
Applicants from Government or public sector should have a minimum of 26 years of experience in Group ‘A’ or equivalent executive grade. Applicants currently not in Government or public sector, but having earlier experience of at least 26 years in Group ‘A’ or equivalent executive grade in Government or public sector, shall also be eligible. Applicants who have worked for at least 2 years in the pay scale of Rs 75000-100000 (IDA) in Government/ PSUs will have an added advantage.
Applicants from private sector with a minimum of 5 years experience as CEO or a Director in an organization of repute and having handled multi disciplinary engineering projects preferably in urban situations, shall also be eligible.
The applicant should have significant senior level experience in implementing rail based mass transit Metro systems including knowledge of planning, development and execution of Metro project or similar major rail based project. This should include experience and knowledge of coordinating and interfacing railway related disciplines such as modern track structures, signalling, electrification and rolling stock, and also knowledge of safety aspects relating to railway construction and operations etc. Experience in execution of underground Metro Construction and commissioning is also desirable.

DURATION OF APPOINTMENT
The appointment shall be for a period of 5 years or upto the age of superannuation, whichever is earlier, on contractual or deputation basis, as the case may be. Further extension to tenure shall be with the approval of the competent authority. General age for superannuation will be 60 years, unless extended otherwise by the competent authority.
